My job is to paint the world as I see it so that you can bring joy, beauty and energy into your space. I paint mostly expressive and impressionistic landscapes but because I am inspired by the world in general I will always paint a wide variety of subject matter. Often times it is a simple color combination that inspires me, other times it is the way the light makes a calm afternoon seem magical. Sometimes I paint a subject simply because I know it will challenge me. I grew up in Montana reside in the deep South and look forward to painting in plein air (that means on location).
